Tahi - Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc 2004

The wine that almost made Michael cry it is so good. Very limited and well worth holding on to if you can cope with the wait.

Colour:
Rich dark crimson

Aroma:
Dense rich dark berries, intense black fruit backed by quality French oak.

Palate:
Complex and multilayered with immense structure overlaid with dense mouth filling fruits and integrated oak characters. The tannins are dense but not obtrusive and the finish is long, very long in fact defining the wines impact on the palate and the mind

Winemaker’s notes: A statement from the vineyard, the ultimate expression of terroir as shown by the marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the Gimblett Gravels, a wine to age for 15 years but delicious now.

Michael’s notes: It doesn’t get better than thisDavid’s first vintage of Tahi and what a cracker- we are so lucky- Only 275 cases made and 250 available for sale, so be quick or be prepared to miss out.
