Hatton Estate Tahi-ONE

Vintage 2002

Cabernet Sauvignon 75% Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc 5%

Colour: Dark inky black crimson

Aroma: Dense black fruits laced with lashings of American oak

Palate: Dense Cabernet Sauvignon, multi-tiered oak while influential doesn’t over power the dark tight ripe fruits. A long, quite tight and direct wine which opens in the glass and enjoys a lingering finish- best after decanting.

Winemakers’ notes: A big solidly structured wine for requiring decanting now or laying down- could easily keep for 12 plus years from vintage date.
