Hi wine lovers!
The Christmas holiday season has come around again with alarming alacrity and with two young children we are plunged headfirst into it.
For Hatton Estate 2008 has been a busy one where we have met many new people, visited new countries and sold wine in places we would never have dreamed of when we started 16 years ago.
You can try Hatton Estate wine in places as diverse as The Buddha Bar in London or The New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc Bar in Dalian City China. You can dine with Hatton Estate wine in restaurants from the Surf Coast in Taranaki, New Zealand to the Golf Coast in North Berwick, Scotland. Whether you are skiing in the mountains of Montana USA , or sailing in the harbours of the City of Sails, Auckland New Zealand , after an adventurous day you can sip a cool glass of EC2 Chardonnay or muse over a rich smooth glass of the Doctor Syrah.
For a tiny little winery based in a Big Tin Shed in Gimblett Road Hawkes Bay – that’s not too bad eh?

We hope we answered your questions and that you learned something while you were here. We also hope you got your wine purchases home safely and have had the chance to enjoy them with someone special.
Certainly something special has been going on at Cellar Door, as in October over one weekend we had 26 visitors who had been here before! Marvellous that I got to meet you all and hope your pictures of Star our winery dog came out ok! She has ten times more photos taken of her than we do!
