HATTON ESTATE RESERVE 2005
Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Cabernet Franc
“
Made primarily from cabernet sauvignon, this is an elegant and beautifully structured wine with fine ripe blackberry and cedar flavours together with a strong influence of classy oak. A refined rather than blockbuster style, it avoids the hard tannins often found in Gimblett Gravels reds and shows subtle power yet plenty of flavour intensity; there’s no doubt it will cellar well.”
