Carsons Cabernets:
The story goes a little like this: It was late one night during the final leg of harvest and Carson and Michael had drawn the short straw; night shift.
The long hours and physical demands of bringing in the grapes were starting to take their toll on the men.
The simple task of a pump over was handed out, but somehow instead of just aerating the Cabernet Franc as required, it seems that someone (and I'm not naming names) pumped in some Cabernet Sauvignon by mistake.
By the time the sun came up it was too late, and a simple mistake had turned into something delicious.
