The boss doesn't get back to the office until after Queens Birthday Weekend, so you know what that means....
.....more naughty deals we would never get away with if he was here!
This week we thought we should run Miro 2005 through the wringer. Check it out:
Single bottle price will stay the same at $19.95
Half Case price is $15.00 a bottle, or 90 bucks all up for 6 bottles!
Case price is $14.50 a bottle or 174 bucks all up for 12 bottles!
There is not a lot of time to pull this one off, so get your orders in quick smart!
Send us an email now to order.
We have also been playing around with the new ordering system to make sure it all works well. When we launch it (which is not far away) i t will be so simple and easy and smooth and streamlined you will want to be ordering wine all the time just to play with it.
The boss has emailed us with some photographs from his travels which are posted here on his travel diary pages. Michael had actually posted his diary entry on the website from the UK but failed to do any proofreading, so for those of you who were unfortunate enough to read his ramble unedited we apologise. Here is the readable version, complete with odd captions for the photographs.
As many of you know it is still duck shooting season, and though we may not be interested in doing any shooting ourselves roast duck sure is delicious, s o here is one of our favourite recipies, as it is super easy and you can drink whilst you cook and no one will be any wiser. Share your wine with your duck, then say the duck drank it all.
ROAST WILD DUCK
Allow 1/2 black or Mallard duck per serving.
Rub inside of duck lightly with salt and thyme. Stuff with cut-up onions and apples. Place in roasting pan breast side up. Put slices of orange on breasts held in place by wooden toothpicks. Baste with a sweet red wine, pouring some of the wine into duck's cavity. Baste with the wine frequently while roasting. Roast at 375 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
Make gravy with drippings. Serve with wild rice.
Yum. Pair this with Miro and have one happy family.
The boss will be back soon, so we will have to go back to behaving ourselves, but there is stil l a little more fun to be had.
Eat well drink better
