Happy Birthday Hatton Estate - We are 15 years old!
August is our Birthday month, where we commemorate our first plantings, and the birth of Hatton Estate. We will be celebrating the only way we know how - with wine of course! If you would like to be a part of this then click here for the deals we have to celebrate.
As a gift to ourselves and everyone who makes the effort to come over and hang out at our cellar door here at Hatton Estate we have revamped our amenities. For those of you who have visited our cellar door you may be aware that our bathrooms were quite an experience, and we don't mean that in a 'like visiting Donald Trumps Bathroom' kind of way.
To be perfectly honest they were a bit agricultural in a tractor shed kind of way!
As cellar door visitors well know Hatton Estate likes the pride itself in putting money into making amazing wine, rather than amazing buildings which is why the cellar door is a big shed, but we think wine drinkers appreciate our focus on the wine - not luxurious staff amenities!
As we are still in the middle of construction we won't be having a party for a little while yet, as no one wants to shake their groove thing amidst sawdust and power tools, but the up side to that is that we can stretch out the festivities until then, meaning more fun times for you and all of us here in the office (and more wine over lunch!).
We will let you know when the timing is right for a good old fashioned knees up, but we are thinking early spring. Let us know if that time suits you. For the internationals who will be unable to make to journey we suggest that you get us to send you some of our wine. Crack it open and view the hoards of images we will be putting up for your benefit. It will be just like being there, but without Michael telling stories - so you wont have missed much really.
Enough talking. Time for celebrating. Happy Birthday Hatton Estate. We are very proud.
