As 2007 comes to a close we salute all the people who have helped us through 2007 and say thank you to those hard at work behind the scenes at Hatton Estate.

We greatly appreciate the hard yards done by our people on the road who have opened so many doors in so many new places in New Zealand, especially in Auckland (a big thanks to Jonty and Misha) and the new retailers where you can buy our wines in New Zealand the UK and Australia especially.

If there is a local bottle shop you enjoy browsing in and would like to see our wines on the shelf there for you to buy please email Mike by clicking here, put down their name and address and we shall arrange it. If we manage to sell wine to them you will recieve a free bottle from us as a thank you for the introduction!

One of the many enjoyable parts to this wine lifestyle is the many interesting people we meet - at the Cellar door and on the road, but also via email . The number of people who email in with stories of where they have tried our wines, or bought wine from the cellar door and had it on the beach with fish and chips at sunset - or at that special BYO restaurant where you took along the bottle of Reserve you had been saving up. We love it, keep them coming please, just email Michael@HattonEstate.com and don't worry we wont publish them - well, not with your name on anyway!

Thanks to Joan and Terry from Leeds who visited the Cellar Door on Thursday and recounted the tale of drinking Tahi  at Gordon Ramsays earlier in the month, and the large group from Maryland USA who tried EC2 Chardonnay, Carsons and Tahi in Las Vegas which encouraged them to vist the winery here in Hawke's Bay- THANK YOU!

Many people are surprised at the outrageous, georgeous, wonderful, spectacular, and friendly  restaurants we have our wine served.  Many are right on your doorstep, and may have hidden treasures like the Doctor or Tahi tucked away (mainly for the Chef) for you to have with your meal - just ask. If you believe your local favourite restaurant(s) need our wine please email Mike and we will sort it- once again if your suggestion bears fruit for us we will send you a complimentary bottle!
