From a career in the financial world, which included 12.5 years in the financial markets of Tokyo, Sydney, Johannesburg, and London, Michael has now taken the leap from the office, into the vineyard.
Michael was tasked with managing the sales process for Hatton Estate wines and the move into our next development phase.
He returned to New Zealand late 2001 to work
closely with the family to continue building up Hatton Estate to achieve
our goal of making New Zealand's finest red wines.
