Michael, Kim, Toast and Coffee
This week is a real gem, check this out:
Michael will be on
National Radio
this coming weekend, and better still, he will be on our favourite show;
Saturday Morning with Kim Hill
.
Get yourself a big pot of coffee, maybe a little
F
rench toast
, find some sunshine and enjoy your Saturday morning with Kim Hill and Michael Daymond-King.
He should be on at about 11.05 am, or just after the 11 o clock news, but listen to the whole show. On Saturday the 30th of September, thats this Saturday coming. 101 fm. Lock it in. Support National Radio, and support Michael, we think he is a little nervous, so show some love.
Now to the toast. We at the winery can attest that if you make this French toast for your loved ones or family it will almost always guarantee you a day in the good books. There is no better way to make your partner happy, and it is such an easy thing to do. Why not try it out, and see how right we are.
In other news,
Martin Bosleys
5th birthday party was a roaring success, one of those lunches that last all day. It will go down in history, with some of the stories floating around already making it to urban myth status. One lucky guest had such a good time he was found by his partner asleep on his bed wearing nothing but his glasses. Unfortunately he had also left the front door wide open, the keys in the lock and a trail of his clothing on the floor. It was obviously a good day.
We are hoping to get some pictures (of the lunch, not the man) as well as the menu, so stay tuned and we will put them up as soon as we clear them with the lawyer.
Michael wanted to thank the
Museum Hotel
for providing him and Colleen his long suffering wife with some seriously flash digs for the night. It was like a second honeymoon. If you get the chance stay the night with them, they will treat you well.
The competition for dinner for four at Diva is still going swimmingly, and there is still time to enter. Just come on by the cellar door (124 Gimblett Road Hawkes Bay) and yell out 'Is There A Doctor In The House'!
Dont forget to tune in to National Radio this Saturday.
If you have any news, gossip or recipes please
feel free to drop us a line
, you know how much we love hearing from you, and if you miss the interview with Kim Hill you can always play it back on their website.
