Colour: Dark Red

Aroma: Ripe forest berries with a touch of cinnamon pointing to fine oak.

Palate: A bright luscious merlot, with vibrant fruit definition, a full mid palate and a lingering finish.

Winemaker’s notes: A good vintage for Merlot with this parcel showing a classical Gimblett Gravels signature of small berries and intense flavours which shows well in the wine.

Food match: Delicious on its own, or try with grilled lamb chops on the BBQ

Cellar potential: 5 years from vintage date.
