Fine Wine and Fine Dining- a perfect match!
Hatton Estate wines are sold in over 500 of the world’s finest restaurants, including 75 of the top 100 restaurants in the USA and over 35 of the top 50 in the UK. These restaurants include the famous Thomas Keller’s French Laundry in Napa Valley California, and Per Se in New York, Joel Robuchon in New York and Las Vegas, Emeril in Florida, and of course Gordon Ramsay among others in London.

Whether dining alfresco at Breakers of Palm Beach Florida, overlooking the harbour at Martin Bosley’s eponymous culinary retreat in New Zealand’s capital city Wellington or après ski at the Rainbow Lodge at the Yellowstone Club in the mountains of Montana our wines deliver a palate match and a pure taste of summer from New Zealand.

Hatton Estate has an active Cellar Door where visitors get to try most of our entire wine range including:

• EC2 Chardonnay made in a clean pure 'blis style reflecting the gravels in the vineyard, the beautiful weather, and the bountiful seafood available in Hawke Bay.
• Miro Merlot, a luscious fruit driven wine perfect for a summer BBQ or a winter's fire.
• Carson’s Cabernets a Cabernet Franc dominant wine with a backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon, delicious on its own and a fragrant accompaniment to pasta and poultry dishes.
• Syrah, The Doctor, 100% Syrah dense deeply coloured extravagant expression of the best of New Zealand Syrah- just what the Doctor ordered.
• Tahi-One, our signature wine , a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc a treat with a special meal or the perfect gift for the serious oenophile!

Hatton Estate was established in 1992 as a fine wine business on the 1200 acre Gimblett Gravels sub region of Hawke's Bay, on the east coast of New Zealand.

Over the past 15 years the Hatton Estate family has combined their passion for fine wine and the art of viticulture and developed an international reputation for food friendly premium and ultra premium wines for both New Zealand and export markets.
